These are the main gates to the Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages(文藻外語大學). Something both beautiful and slightly bothersome about the university is that there really isn't a consistent architectural style, so some buildings will look more traditional than others! The good thing about the campus is that it's a pretty small campus, so you probably won't get lost.
During the NSLI-Y Taiwan (Kaohsiung) AY (academic year) program, we attend the Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages (specifically, the Chinese Learning Centre(華語中心), CLC). All our Chinese classes were at the CLC! As far as I know, there are no classes on the first floor of CLC, so all the classes are on the second or third floor. My classes were all on the third floor (which is a good thing because my peers on the second floor mentioned a TON of mosquitoes down there, BUT to be fair they did get to use a mosquito zapping racket).
The next frequently visited place is the library(圖書館大樓)! Wenzao is a language university so they have a lot of books in a lot of languages (I went to floor B1 to read Japanese books sometimes)! Floor 5 is good for group work and group study sessions. There are also two couches on floor 5 if you're really exhausted and want to take a nap. Floor 3 has a quiet study area and a loud study area. I usually had my language partner time on floor 3 or floor 5!
For elective classes, they could be in different areas of the campus, but both of my electives were in the same building(露德樓)for me and it's the smaller building on the left-hand side of the picture. The NSLI-Y office is on the first floor of the building on the right-hand side of the picture(至善樓). The very top floor of the NSLI-Y office building has a tiny roof garden (I would recommend going there because you can see pretty far from up there)!
Besides these buildings, there is a student recreation building (學生活動中心) that is a bit hidden away. I went there occasionally to play the piano (I could hear a drum set in the building too).
