Shenyuan Jishui Sugar Cultural Park 深緣及水善糖文化園區 (Shēn yuán jí shuǐ shàn táng wén huà yuán qū):
Since the sugar industry emerged and thrived during the Japanese occupation, the majority of the buildings in the cultural park had a traditional Japanese feel to them, I find that this is consistent among the many sugar industry cultural parks in Taiwan. It's interesting how architecture can tell you so much about a place!
South Pavilion Floating Tea House 南亭曲水流觴曲水 (Nán tíng qū shuǐ liú shāng qū shuǐ):
This was my absolute favorite activity! They serve you tea on a tiny river (it reminded me of sushi conveyor belts in Japan)! We also got to do calligraphy on the floor and on the rocks!
Sicao Green Tunnel 竹筏港綠色隧道 (Zhú fá gǎng lǜ sè suì dào):
It was a quick river tour that was engaging and very green and very beautiful!
