Taidong Park 台東公園（Tái dōng gōng yuán）：
I spent a lot of time at this park and the nearby beach area because it was just so pretty! Here are some pictures!
Downtown 台東：
The downtown area looked similar to Kaohsiung, but ultimately was not as convenient! Everything seemed to be much further apart and transportation was not as convenient as well (one bus every two hours or so)! I did become totally obsessed with this temple because it looked so pretty with all the lanterns around it!
A cohort member and I took a bus in the wrong direction, and we had to walk all the way back into the city for an hour and a half! We were walking along the highway, so not too enjoyable, but it was definitely a unique experience!
