December 3rd, 2020 - NSLI-Y Semi-finalist Email Update
April 8th, 2021 - NSLI-Y Finalist Notification for the Chinese Academic Year
August 5th, 2021 - Official notification of the Chinese Academic Year Virtual Start
August 30th, 2021 - Chinese Academic Year Virtual Semester Start
October 1st, 2021 - Taiwan Special Entry Permit Approval Notification
October 13th, 2021 - NSLI-Y Scholarship Press Release
October 15th, 2021 - Turn in VISA Application
October 22nd, 2021 - Turn in Form to Re-confirm participation in the program (in-person)
November 5th, 2021 - Necessary Miscellaneous Forms due
November 24th, 2021 - Chinese Academic Year Virtual Semester End
November 29th, 2021 - Virtual Pre-departure Orientation #1
December 1st, 2021 - Virtual Pre-departure Orientation #2
December 2nd, 2021 - Received official Host Family Information (my host family contacted me prior to this)
December 6th ~ December 8th 2021 - Pre-departure Orientation in San Francisco (PCR testing prior to flight)
December 8th, 2021 - Flight to Taiwan & Start of Quarantine (another PCR testing prior to flight)
December 21, 2021 - Take another PCR test
December 24th, 2021 - First Segment of Quarantine Completed & Change Quarantine Hotels
December 31st - Quarantine done & Move in with Host Family
